The favorite coming in, Zhang sent Forrest to the canvas three times in the first three rounds and arguably won the fourth. Then Zhang's gas tank emptied and Forrest dug down deep, fought exhaustion and landed the harder shots, stunning Zhang on multiple occasions. Forrest deserves massive credit for fighting back from the three knockdowns. However, a referee' point deduction on Zhang for holding in the ninth round changed the fight from a win for Zhang to a draw.
