Jalisco, Mexico to host Enriquez-Minowa tonight

Mexico's Kenia Enriquez, who holds the WBC interim light flyweight title, will defend against Japan's Chaoz Minowa on Saturday when they clash on a card presented by Zanfer and that will be broadcast on Azteca 7. The  two women showed their potential and talent, during a public training display in the main square of Tamazula, Jalisco. Enriquez (22-1-0, 9 KOs) will make the fourth defense of her crown, while Minowa, backed with the foundation of a distinguished amateur career, has had a pro career of 6-2-0 with 5 KOs. [To show you how few world-class women boxers exist today, Minowa is 6-2 but has already lost two world title shots].

During the public training, both warriors trod lightly, sticking to technique, so as to  reserve their full power for Saturday’s contest. Kenya Enriquez`s  fast blows, carried  speed, class, great precision and rhythm, especially with the  combinations. Chaoz Minowa showed that she is the classic Japanese warrior who fearlessly comes  forward, who likes to fight in close and has the willpower to rally toe to toe.
