ODDS ON ACTION: TAKING JACOBS AT -140
By Matt Goldstein
After a brief hiatus, Odds on Action is back. Did we go broke from degenerate gambling? No, in fact we’re up thousands from what can only be considered pure luck at the craps table. Last week we won at 4 different Atlantic City Casinos in a row in the same night. If we’re so amazing at shooting craps, our sports betting is can’t miss right? Sounds like pure logic to me. I never thought I’d see Danny Jacobs with a betting line so low unless he was fighting a champion. Granted, Dmitry Pirog is undefeated and a big puncher, but Pirog is not on the same level as Jacobs. Yes, Pirog has wins over Kofi Jantuah and Eric Mitchell, but what would Jacobs have done with those guys? I would take this bet at -275, so at -140 it’s a steal. The line is already moving heavily on Jacobs so you must act fast. Odds on Action is risking $56 to win $40.
