BRADLEY: "I WAS SHOCKED WHEN THE RESULT WAS ANNOUNCED"

Tim Bradley, who is the world junior welterweight champion and, thanks to a much-maligned decision victory over Manny Pacquiao last Saturday, the world welterweight champion as well, issued the following statement on his Facebook page: "I didn't score the fight. I fought him with all my best and full heart. Well I admit I was shocked when the result was announced but the fight was over and lets all move on. I'm looking forward for a rematch [to] prove the [I] well deserved this belt."  Bradley was responding to a false Twitter message claiming he would return the WBO title belt Pacquiao due to the criticism of the split decision that went in his favor. --Scott Shaffer
