DONAIRE PRESSING THE FLESH TWO DAYS AHEAD OF UNIFICATION BOUT

Press Release: Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire  will meet with Council members from the City of Carson at City Hall today, July 5th, beginning at 11:00 a.m. PT.   Donaire, along with promoter Bob Arum, were invited there by Councilman Elito M. Santarina to commemorate Donaire’s upcoming unification battle where Donaire, the WBO junior featherweight champion, will rumble with IBF champion Jeffrey Mathebula of South Africa under the stars at The Home Depot Center in Carson.  Immediately following his City Hall visit, Donaire will meet with fans from the community, across the street in the parking lot of the Farmers Insurance office building, at approximately 11:30 a.m. PT. Donaire-Mathebula headlines the July 7th edition of HBO Boxing After Dark.
