NY STATE TITLE BOUT ADDED TO JULY 28 SHOW

Press Release: Junior lightweight and Bronx native Manny Gonzalez will challenge Chazz McDowell for the New York State 130-pound championship next Saturday night, July 28th at The Paramount in Huntington, New York. Advance tickets are available through Ticketmaster, (www.Ticketmaster.com) or The Paramount box office, (631) 673-7300. The Puerto Rican Gonzalez has compiled a record of 10-0 with 7 KOs since turning pro in 2008. McDowell, sporting a record of 6-1 with 1 KO, won the 2007 New York Golden Gloves and the 2005 Junior Olympics. Known for his slick boxing skills McDowell won a six round decision over Yuriel Ramos on May 12th in Poughkeepsie, New York. In the show's main event, junior welterweight Chris Algieri, 14-0 with 7KOs battles Texas' Raul Tovar, 10-5-1 with 4KOs.
