WOMEN IN THE SPOTLIGHT AT HARRAHS PHILADELPHIA

Press Release: On Saturday, October 27th, at Harrahs Philadelphia (formally Harrahs Chester), a boxing show will feature female talent, with promoters promising that a portion of the proceeds will go to breast cancer awareness causes. In the main event, Melissa St. Vil will take on Jackie Trivilino at super featherweight. St. Vil of Brooklyn, NY has a record of 2-1-2 and despite having only five fights, she has faced and defeated good competition. She opened her career with a draw with the popular Olivia Fonseca and has defeated Jennifer Han and Evette Collazo.
Trivilino of Plattsburgh, NY has a record of 8-5-2. She has a win over Angel Gladney (6-1-1) and two draws with Nydia Feliciano (5-3-3).  In Trivilino’s last fight, she fought a war with world title holder Ronica Jeffrey (9-0) before dropping an eight-round unanimous decision. Also on the show will be a six-round featherweight bout between LaKeysha Williams (9-16-3) of Philadelphia and Ela “Bam Bam” Nunez (11-13-2) of Jamestown, NY.
