KESSLER-FROCH II ON TAP FOR 2013?

Press Release: Mikkel Kessler (45-2, 34 KOs) says he'll be more than happy grant a rematch to Carl Froch (30-2, 22 KOs) – but only after he has defeated Brian Magee (36-4-1, 25 KOs), the current holder of the WBA super middleweight title. Magee defends against Kessler on December 8th in in Herning, Denmark. Froch, the current IBF title holder, recently predicted Kessler would avoid a rematch of their April 2010 battle, in which Kessler handed Froch his first-ever defeat and won the WBC belt over twelve exciting rounds . “Don't you worry, Carl,” Kessler said. “I beat you once and I will beat you again. Enjoy your belt while you have it. And let me take care of business against Brian Magee first. Of course I am ready to fight you again, any time, any place, especially if Andre Ward is too scared to leave his backyard.” Kessler, who has great respect for Froch, congratulated the Nottingham fighter on his successful IBF title defense against Yusaf Mack. “That was a good win for you, congratulations,” he stated. “Keep it up and I am sure we will meet again.”
