Frankie Gavin TKO7 Jason Welborn... In Walsall, England, Frankie Gavin retained the British welterweight title by stopping Jason Welborn in the seventh round. Gavin, now 15-0 as a pro, knocked Welborn down with a left to the body in the seventh round. Welborn, now 11-2, got up but took several hard shots to the head, convincing the referee to stop the contest. It was the first title defense for Gavin, who lifted the crown from Junior Witter two months ago. source: daily mail
