TOOWOOMBA, AUSTRALIA CARD SHAPING UP FOR MARCH

Press Release: Japanese boxer Shogo Sakai (2-1) has signed a contract to meet undefeated Toowoomba boxer “The Great White” Brayd Smith (5-0) in a featherweight bout on March 8th at Rumours International in Toowoomba, Australia. Smith says he is excited about the learning curve ahead. “This is an even match,” said Promoter Brendon Smith, also the trainer and manager of Brayd Smith. “Shogo is only two years older than Brayd so it will be great for him to test the level he is at against someone of similar age and experience”.  Also on the card are local cruiserweights Josh Webb (0-2) vs. Dale Ryan (0-2) in a "someone's 0 has got to go" fight and English import Darren Askew (6-6) vs. Brett John Smith (5-4) at welterweight. Tickets for the event are currently on sale at Smithy’s Gym in Toowoomba.
