ALEXANDER INJURY POSTPONES BROOK BOUT

Press Release: Due to a bicep injury suffered by Devon Alexander during training, his IBF welterweight title defense against Kell Brook, scheduled as the main event of the February 23rd Showtime telecast, has been postponed. A new date for the bout is currently being scheduled and will be announced shortly. The February 23rd show event at the Masonic Temple Theatre in Detroit will take place as scheduled, now being headlined by Detroit native Cornelius "K9" Bundrage defending his IBF 154-pouind title against Ishe "Sugar Shay" Smith.
