BRONER ARRESTED DRIVING BULLET-HOLE RIDDLED SUV
By Scott Shaffer

Adrien Broner has had another brush with the law.  Early this morning, the former four-division titleholder was pulled over by Kentucky police because the rented SUV he was driving had bullet holes in it.  It turned out Broner had a warrant out for his arrest due to failure to appear in court on public intoxication charges.  So Broner was arrested and taken in, although he soon posted bail and was released.  Unconfirmed reports say the bullet holes resulted from an altercation involving Broner that took place a few hours earlier across the river in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Broner, now a former champion who is being matched very carefully, last fought in February, a split decision win over Adrian Granados in which Broner was allowed to change the weight class from junior welterweight to welterweight just one week before fight night.  Showtime recently announced that Broner was scheduled to fight again this summer. Broner has a well-documented histroy of criminal charges, including robbery charges that were dropped when the victim failed to appear in court. --Scott Shaffer from various wire reports
