BARANCHYK EASILY WINS UGLY UNANIMOUS DECISION OVER SMITH
By G. Leon

Ivan Baranchyk UD8 Keenan Smith: Previously undefeated junior welterweight up and comers Ivan Baranchyk and Keenan Smith fought a terribly sloppy fight featuring the kind of action one would only expect while watching two guys off the street facing each other in the ring, or two teenagers making their debuts in a walk out bout. Baranchyk was wild and wide with his punches and left his jab in Belarus. Smith, 11-1 (5), lifted Baranchyk, 17-0 (10), off the canvas twice and landed two rabbit punches, and that was just in the first ninety seconds of round one. Just an ugly sloppy fight dominated by Baranchyk's aggression. Smith lost a point in round five for excessive holding. Official scores were 80-71, 79-72, 78-73 Baranchyk. Source: Shobox
