Agit Kabayel knock out Frank Sanchez

Agit Kabayel KO7 Frank Sanchez... In a WBC heavyweight eliminator held on the big Riyadh, Saudi Arabia show, Agit Kabayel (25-0, 17 KOs) made his second straight huge career move forward, stopping the favored and previously undefeated Frank Sanchez (24-1, 17 KOs)  in round seven. Kabayel defeated Sanchez with a strong body attack. The normally mobile Sanchez fought with a brace on his right knee. Kabayel is Kurdish but lives in Germany.

In December, Kabayel went from the fringes of the heavyweight division to a legitimate top fifteen contender by stopping the monstrous but lumbering Arslanbek Makhmudov in four surprising rounds, also in Saudi Arabia.Though significantly shorter and lighter than the 6'6" Makhmudov, Kabayel used superior moverment and fought bravely and aggresively against the huge-punching Russian. Kabayel began imposing his will on Kabayel in round three, hurting Makhmudov to the body. He scored three knockdowns in roud four, all thanks to body work, and got the stoppage victory to remain undefeated. Makhmudv was favored going in, and this was the biggest win of Kabayel's career by far, eclipsing his 2017 majority decision win over Derek Chisora.
