The Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame (ACBHOF) teams up with Hard Hitting Promotions (HHP) for a Fight Night extravaganza at Bally’s in Atlantic City, New Jersey for live pro boxing on Friday, September 29th. Headlining the show will be Branden Pizarro (18-1, 10 KOs) of Philadelphia vs. Esteban Garcia of Brawley, California (16-2, 8KOs) in a ten-round junior welterweight clash. The show will be part of ACBHOF's 7th Annual Awards & Induction Weekend, a three-day multi-tiered event.
The 2023 class members include: George Foreman, David Tua, Shannon Briggs, Pinklon Thomas, Tracy Harris Patterson, Doug Dewitt, Darroll Wilson, Shamone Alvarez, Jamillia Lawrence, Joe Hand Sr., Matt Howard, Rudy Battle, Benjy Esteves Jr., Arnold Robbins, Joseph Santoliquito, Lee Samuels. Posthumous and pioneer inductees ares: Buster Drayton, Marty Feldman, Rocky Castellani, Frankie Polo, Joe Miller, Horace M. Leeds, “KO” Becky O’Neill and Willie O’Neill.
The highlight of the weekend will be Saturday September 30th, red-carpet formal Awards & Induction Ceremony which takes place inside Sound Waves Theater at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City in an award show atmosphere.
