BKFC update on this weekend's show in Florida

Bare knuckle fighter Erick “El Travieso” Lozano is ready for the biggest fight of his career. On Friday, the heavy-handed Holland, Michigan product takes on former BKFC champion Mike Richman on BKFC Fight Night Clearwater to beheld at Bert’s Barracuda Harley-Davidson in Clearwater, Florida, live on The BKFC App. After Lozano’s most recent victory, he asked BKFC matchmaker Nate Shook for an opportunity against one of BKFC’s best fighters. That’s exactly what’s waiting for him in Florida.

Lozano knows it won’t be easy to take out Richman, but he’s putting his best foot forward as he gears up for one final run at the BKFC light heavyweight championship. “I’m really excited for this opportunity – this is exactly the kind of fight that I need to prove that I’m one of the best in the world,” Lozano says. “I’ve been putting in more work than ever. I’m more motivated and focused than ever, and I can’t wait to show what I’m capable of in this big spot.”

Lozano hopes a victory in Clearwater will clear the path for a shot at the BKFC title later this year, but “El Travieso” is ready for anything. “If I’m next in line for a title shot after this, that would be amazing. If I’m not, I’ll go fight whoever else they want me to fight. It doesn’t matter who they put in front of me; I’m ready for anything,” he says. “This is going to be my best showcase for BKFC. I’m going to show everybody that I’m here, and I’m coming for that belt.”
