Nazarena Romero TKO1 Paola Ibarra...  Argentina’s Nazarena “Capricho” Romero needed only 25 seconds of the first round to stop her opponent, Paola Ibarra at the Albatros Club in Montevideo, Uruguay. Romero knocked Ibarra down with just the second punch of the fight and the referee properly stopped the action. Romero, a former WBA 122-pound interim champion is now 12-0. This was her first bout in nearly two years and she's now looking for a world title shot. Romero had conquered the interim crown in December 2020 against her compatriot Julieta Cardozo by technical knockout in the second round. Since then, she became a mother, which required a pause in her career. But on Saturday, she showed that her time away from the ring did not affect her title hopes. Ibarra, who was fighting in her home country, falls to 6-8.
