Boxing Insider Promotions returns to New York City's Sony Hall for its 12th boxing event in Times Square on Friday, May 9th for a night of club boxing on Broadway. Tickets are on sale now. The main event features a ten-round flyweight clash between Sony Hall favorite Andy Dominguez (12-1, 6 KOs) and Nelvis Rodriguez (10-2, 5 KOs). Andy is making his fifth appearance at Sony Hall. An eight-round co-feature is a battle of undefeated lightweights, Catherine Aiura (5-0, 3 KOs) of Chicago vs. Peggy Whitmore (5-0, 1 KO) of Cleveland. Tickets can be purchased here.

 

UNDERCARD

 

Puerto Rican featherweight Yandiel Lozano will make his pro debut in a six-rounder in association with Queensbury Promotions and manager Shelly Finkel. 

 

Another six-round bout features junior featherweight Giovanni Figueroa (5-0-1, 5 KOs) from the Bronx, who has stopped all but one opponent in the first round.

 

Also in a six-rounder, welterweight Yoel Angeloni (5-0, 3 KOs), a Cuban-Italian southpaw with a 130-2 amateur record, returns after a March TKO win (in association with DiBella Entertainment). 

 

Additionally, Bronx junior middleweight Sharif One debuts in a four-rounder against Austin Spivey.
