Boxingtalk salutes Hank Lundy on his retirement

Boxingtalk salutes Philadelphia warrior Hank Lundy (31-10-1, 14 KOs), who announced his retirement after losing to Robbie Davies Jr. this weekend. Here is Lundy's announcement: "Forty two pro fights. I’ve been in the ring with the best. Sixteen years in the pros and I wouldn’t change it for anything, the ups and downs. Fighting on HBO, Showtime, ESPN and DAZN. I really did it all, winning six [regional] belts. A lot laughed and didn’t believe in me and I made a fool out of them. Hard work and wanting a better life for my kids got me here but I can’t be selfish watching my loved ones go through pain when I am hurt. It hurts to say that I am retiring from B\boxing. Thank you for all you have blessed me with, and some of the most memorable fights. It’s been a sixteen-year journey that I will miss. Hammer out! Thank you."
