British heavyweight Dave "The White Rhino" Allen (24-7-2  19KOs) pulverized Johnny Fisher (13-1-0  11 KOs) in round five for sweet revenge at the Copper Box in London. On the books, Fisher won their first encounter, but most who saw that fight thought Allen was hard done on the scorecards. Allen, a boxer's everyman who has been on the wrong end of several knockouts himself, scored a knockdown with fifteen seconds to go in round five. It looked like Fisher would see the round out, but just as the bell sounded, Allen put him down face first, nearly out cold, just as the towel came flying in from Fishers' corner. Rather than celebrate a life-changing win, Allen immediately stopped celebrating out of respect for his barely conscious foe, a classy gesture that earned him even more fans.
