Featherweight Jonathan Cabrera of the Dominican Republic will square off on Friday against Venezuela's Maikol Beaumont at the Fencing Pavilion of the Olympic Center in Cabrera's nation's capital, Santo Domingo. The home boxer is 22 years old and has been a professional since mid-2023. At 6-0 with 5 KOs, Cabrera has been quite active since then and this will be his second fight against a foreign opponent.  Beaumont has experience in fights of this type and hasn't always won, bur he always makes it to the final bell. The Venezuelan is 33 years old and has won three of his last four fights, with an overall pro record of 18 wins, 5 losses, 1 draw and 8 wins by knockout.
