Nonito Donaire TKO4 Ryan Burnett... Shocking result from the Word Boxing Super Series bantamweight tournament in Glasgow, Scotland. Nonito Donaire is a champion once again, as he captures Ryan Burnett's WBA super championship at 118 pound. It was not, however, a decisive ending as Burnett hurt his back throwing a punch during round four. Burnett sunk to a knee in pain, which was correctly credited as a knockdown. He beat the count but retired in his corner after round four, giving Donaire the championship and the WBSS quarter-final win by fourth-round technical knockout. Burnett was doing well up to the injury. Donaire (39-5) moved down two weight divisions to be a part of the the World Boxing Super Series. Already a three-division champion, Donaire was previously the WBO/WBC bantamweight champion in 2011 before moving to a higher weight class. Donaire arguably deserves the IBF title as well, as Burnett conquered the WBA super and IBF belts, but had to choose one due to conflicting mandatories. The IBF belt now belongs to Emanuek Rodriguez, who is on the other side of the WBSS brcaket. Next, Donaire will face WBO champion Zolani Tete in a unification / WBSS semi-final. At 19-1, this was a crushing loss for Burnett. To be clear, his injury did not appear to be caused by a Donaire punch, and Burnett will surely remain a world force as soon as his back heals.  source: dazn
