Emmanuel Tagoe W10 Mason Menard... Lightweight action kicked off DAZN's show in Southern Florida on Friday with Ghanaian contender Emmanuel Tagoe taking on Mason Menard over ten rounds. Tagoe damaged Menard's left eye midway through the fight and defeated Menard by majority decision. Official scores were 95-95, 98-92 and 96-94 with most believing the even score card was unfair to the Tagoe, the proper winner. Tagoe's promoter, Lou DiBella, tweeted, "Geeeeeeeeezzzzzz!!! That any judge could have scored Tagoe-Menard 5-5 is an abomination." Tagoe is a legitimate lightweight contender from Ghana whos is now 32-1, having gon eundefeated since his pro debut in 2004. He badly needed this win, having been inactive since mid-2019. Menard, a former prospect, is now 36-5.
