Former unified 122-pound champion Stephen Fulton Jr. is anxious to get back in action. He tweeted:  "Can’t wait to be back in the ring...Inactivity kills fighters that’s why I need to stay in that ring. Had one fight 2022 and one 2023!! Wtf. 2022 was my fault though waiting to try unify with MJ [former champion Murodjon Akhmadaliev] scary ass! Never again." Fulton has not fought since Naoya "Monster" Inoue stopped him in July in an undisputed world championship bout.
