Jamel Herring TKO1 Nicholas Molina... After a first-round stoppage of previously undefeated Nicholas Molina in New York City earlier this week, ex-130-pound champion Jamel Herring vowed to remain active on his comeback campaign. Herring said, "Gotta lead by example. In 97’ Oscar De La Hoya fought five times. They weren’t all mega-fights, but he stayed busy. They don’t have to be all wars, but it’ll prevent a fighter's worst enemy from popping up, which is ring rust. I take care of my body, and I map out my plans accordingly." Herring took a year and a half off after back-to-back losses to Shakur Stevenson and Jamaine Ortiz, but dominated Molina in their brief encounter, possibly breaking Moina's nose prior to the referee's stoppage. Herring is now 24-4.
