According to the IBO, Shabaz "The Maverick" Masoud is set to make his first IBO 122-pound title defense in Birmingham, England on June 21st against Peter "Blood" McGrail. The IBO reports the fight will be on a Matchroom Boxing show to be broadcast on DAZN. Masoud is 14-0 and lifted the title from Liam Davies in November. McGrail is 11-1, including three straight wins since a 2023 stoppage loss to Ja'Rico O'Quinn.
