Split-T Boxing Management announced the signing of U.S. Marine Corps Captain Stephanie Simon to an exclusive management deal. Simon will be managed by Split-T’s CEO, Dave McWater and Brian Cohen. Simon, a decorated amateur, earned national attention with her championship run at the 2023 National Golden Gloves and her strong performance at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials. Known for her technical precision, ring IQ, and the same discipline she has displayed as a Marine Corps officer, Simon is poised to make a smooth and successful transition into the professional ranks. Simon has a professional record of 2-0 and competes in the junior welterweight division.
“Stephanie has everything it takes to become a world champion — the talent, the mindset, and the work ethic,” said Dave McWater. “We’re excited to be part of her journey and look forward to helping her reach her full potential in the professional arena.”
Veteran manager Brian Cohen, who has helped guide multiple champions, echoed McWater’s enthusiasm: “I’ve been watching Stephanie’s growth for a while and she’s got the tools to make real noise in women’s boxing. This signing was a collaborative effort with Sara Fina and the rest of the Split T team. I’m excited to carve out a championship path and share what we’ve known for a long time about Stephanie Simon. That is she is the total package.”
Simon, who trains under renowned coach John Pullman in Los Angeles, shared her excitement about the partnership: “Signing with Split-T and working with both Dave McWater and Brian Cohen is an honor. Their track record of guiding champions speaks for itself, and I’m confident this team will help me make the impact I envision in the pro ranks.”
