Former four-division champion Adrien Broner, his problems well documented, appears to be training hard and by all accounts is working himself back into shape. Young Xander Zayas posted apicture of himself with a tired but smiling Broner after a sparring session. Here is what Broner himself posted on Instagram: "Today I ran 6 miles in 54 minutes. It’s not hard to change your life. I went from [being] overweight [by] 57 pounds, [and was] waking up not even drinking water first and taking a shot of 1942 then drinking for the rest of the day. Now I’m waking up one day and telling myself I’m going to change this sh*t and become what I know I can be and that is one of the best boxers ever. I didn’t look back, and now I’m months in and liquor free. I am down over 30 pounds and if you know me, then you know I love to drink but I love my family and money more! I was unhappy and depressed and now I’m not as happy as I want to be but I’m working towards my goals and dreams no matter how hard it may be. I will get there and I never asked for a handout or help! Sometimes you have to do things on your own and you’ll enjoy the results more! I love you all!" Boxingtalk wishes Broner the best of luck in straightening out his life.
