Jamaine Ortiz signs alliance with Boxlab Promotions

CES Boxing and Boxlab Promotions announced a co-promotional partnership with junior welterweight Jamaine “The Technician” Ortiz (17-2-1, 8 KOs). Ortiz’s first fight under the new agreement will take place on November 1st at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida. Ortiz will face battle-tested Gilberto Espinoza (13-2, 8 KOs), from Tijuana, Mexico, in a ten-round main event. The event will be televised live worldwide on DAZN.

“I’m really excited to be co-promoted by two great promoters like CES Boxing and Boxlab,” stated Ortiz, who fights out of Worcester, Massachusetts. “This is the right move for me at this juncture of my career, and I’m confident that together, they will get me where I need to be in the sport. I’ve always had big goals, and this partnership will help me reach them. My fight with Espinoza is going to showcase what I’ve been working on, and I’m going to shine on the international stage.”

“Jamaine Ortiz is an excellent fighter, and we are excited to start this co-promotional agreement with CES Boxing,” said Amaury Piedra, President of Boxlab Promotions. “Jamaine is a top-tier talent, and we believe this partnership will bring him even closer to realizing his full potential. We’re committed to working together to secure the best opportunities for his career, and November 1st will be the start of an incredible journey with him.”

“This co-promotional partnership is a game-changer for Jamaine Ortiz and a great step forward for CES Boxing and Boxlab Promotions,” stated Jimmy Burchfield, Sr., Founder of CES Boxing. “Jamaine has shown he’s one of the best fighters in the world at 140, and by joining forces with Boxlab, we’re positioning him for even bigger opportunities on the world stage. This is a win for all of us, and we look forward to seeing him shine on November 1st.”

Ortiz, who gave WBO junior welterweight champion Teofimo Lopez all he could handle in February, is eager to get back into world title contention. He believes that this co-promotional agreement is the perfect move for him at this stage of his career. “My goal is to get back into a world title fight, and I know that with the support of CES and Boxlab, I can get there,” concluded Ortiz. “It all starts on November 1st against a tough opponent in Espinoza, and I’m ready to put on a show for the fans and make my mark again.”
