Jarrell Miller, who wrecked his career as a heavyweight contender with positive tests for performance-enhancing substances, appears to be on the verge of his first fight since 2018. The WBA, in promoting its June 23rd "KO Drugs Festival" show at Casino Buenos Aires in the capital of Argentina, briefly mentioned, "It should be noted that the event will be attended by heavyweight Jarrell Miller, who will face an opponent to be announced." An opponent was not listed on Boxrec either. Miller (23-0-1) was on the verge of a multi-million dollar fight to challenge Anthony Joshua in a three-belt championship fight in Miller's hometown (New York City) but he failed his drug tests and has not fought since. Miller's replacement, Andy Ruiz, went on to upset Joshua. With his suspensions now served, there seems to be no legal obstacles to a Miller comeback.
