Last Friday, he won by technical knockout in the fifth round against Argentina's Ricardo Ruben Villalba (20-10-1). Gonzalez (33-2) got his win at the White Sands Events Center, Plant City, Florida.  Age 32, Gonzalez dominated the exchanges in the center of the ring.  After his victory, the winner expressed his gratitude on his Instagram account: ¨First of all, thank God for the victory, to the people who trusted me, now it’s time to learn more." Born in Carabobo, Venezuela, this was his second fight of 2023, after defeating his compatriot Juan Carlos Prada (39-20-1) by knockout.
