Jordan Gill KO9 Karim Guerfi... Matchroom's undercard at London's 02 Arena on Sunday produced a knockout of the year contender. In a European featherweight title fight, Great Britain's Jordan Gill was taking a prolonged beating from the French champion, to the point where DAZN commentators were calling for the referee to save Gill from further punishment. Gill appeared to have highly unsteady legs underneath him, and barely moved off the ropes for two rounds, but suddenly summoned the power to connect with a single overhand right that knocked Guerfi out. Gill had some worrisone swelling over his right eye, and may need a long rest. But he provided an incredible moment reminiscient of Jorge Castro's 1994 comeback against John David Jackson.
