Long-time boxing journalist Kevin Iole announced on social media that he has lost his job: "[I] just wanted to share a bit of bad news I received this morning. After more than 16 years as the boxing/MMA columnist at Yahoo Sports, I was laid off today. The job was incredible and I loved it so much, from the day I began in 2007 until this morning when I received the bad news I was being let go. I have had the privilege of working with so many great journalists and I learned so much for them. This isn't the end of me. I hope to continue on doing what I have loved. I did my best and I can leave with my head held high knowing I gave my best effort every day for the company." Boxingtalk wishes Iole success in the next chapter of his career.
