The bout was a highly contested battle from the opening bell. Both fighters showed incredible tenacity, exchanging blows and keeping the audience on the edge of their seats throughout every round. Kalinowski (12-1) managed to impose his will in the eighth round, forcing the referee to stop the contest. Despite the loss, Stepien (20-2-2) proved to be an exceptional fighter, leaving absolutely everything in the ring and contributing to what was a memorable boxing spectacle.
