Russian welterweight Alexander Besputin (16-0 including the World Series of Boxing), who was originally scheduled to fight Maximiliano Ricardo "El Picante" Veron, will now take on Viktor Plotnikov (33-10, 15 KOs) in a ten-rounder on Saturday in Moscow. Besputin-Plotnikov will open the ESPN+ portion of the broadcast (1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT). A twelve-round super middleweight battle of unbeatens - Azizbek Abdugofurov vs. Pavel Silyagin — is the new co-feature and will air immediately preceding Beterbiev vs. Deines on ESPN and ESPN Deportes portion (also simulcast on ESPN+) on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT. Besputin is returning from an absence related to PED issues.
