Mayweather Promotions’ is back on Saturday, December 17th at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas with an after-show immediately following Premier Boxing Champions’ show in the same venue. Fight fans will be able to enjoy two fight cards under the same roof on the same night. On the Mayweather Promotions part of the show, junior welterweight Kevin “Thunderstorm” Johnson (12-2, 8 KOs) will face Cristian Baez (18-2,17 KOs) immediately following the PBC main event of Michel Rivera vs. Frank Martin. Johnson is coming off a stellar performance on October 8th where he defeated Alejandro Frias Rodriguez by knockout. Also on the card will be Adrian Benton (7-0,4 KOs) against Yohan Vasquez (25-2, 20 KOs). Benton’s most recent bout in May saw him score a unanimous decision victory over Jose Antonio Meza.

 

Arizona native, Micky Scala (6-0,4KOs) will also be returning to the ring and he is set to meet Ricardo Villalba (20-6-1, 8KOs) in a six-round welterweight bout. Scala is returning to the ring from a spectacular first-round TKO victory back in May. 

 

The action will also feature Mayweather Promotions’ Jalil Hackett (4-0, 3 KOs), Dorian Khan Jr.(2-0, 2 KOs) and Robert Meriweather (2-0, 1 KO) in separate bouts. To catch all the live action, tune in live on Vyre Sports Boxing TV.

 

The PBC main event, to be aired live on Showtime matches up two undefeated lightweight contenders, Michel “La Zarza Ali” Rivera (24-0) and Frank “The Ghost” Martin (16-0) in a twelve-round WBA eliminator live at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT.
