Nathan Lugo staying with Split-T for the long haul

Split-T Management announced the signing of Marietta, Georgia, super middleweight Nathan Lugo (1-0) to a long term managerial agreement. Lugo had a standout amateur career that saw him win an astonishing 23 National Amateur titles. The 19 year-compiled a record of 223-19. Lugo won the 2022 Elite National title which made him the youngest fighter ever to qualify for the Olympic Trials. Lugo also captured many international gold medals as he campaigned extensively overseas at a very young age. 
 
Lugo is considered to have imense punching power, which was evidenced by having over 40 stoppage victories. An unheard of number in the amateur style format.  "Split-T focuses strategically on signing the best amateur talent. I can’t say there has been more excitement surrounding someone coming out since Teofimo Lopez. This young man has as much potential as I’ve ever seen. April 24, 2024: Nathan Lugo took out Richard Lartigue inside of a round in their four-round super middleweight bout. Lugo dropped Lartigue with a hard left hook but  would not rest on his laurels as he dumped Lartigue again, this time with a hard right hand. The fight was stopped at 1:33. Lugo, fighting in his hometown of Atlanta is 1-0 with one knockout. Lartigue, of San Diego, is 1-2. "This is just the beginning of the start of a very, very promising career. He has not just the ability, but also the charisma to become a star. There will be some very big announcements in the not so distant future regarding Nathan.” said David McWater of Split-T Management
