Old Manny Pacquiao still far too much of a Problem for Broner

Manny Pacquiao UD12 Adrien Broner: At forty years old boxing's only eight division champion Manny Pacquiao, 61-7-2 (39KO), made it look easy against Adrien Broner, who once again, was extremely reluctant to let his hands go. Broner, 33-4-1 (24KO), never really attempted to take the lead or work the body in any shape form or fashion. If Broner landed double digit punches in any of the twelve rounds this scribe would be surprised. Pacquiao. After 12 rounds punch stats had Broner landing only 50 punches to Pacquiao in this immediately forgettable bout. Pacquiao never scored any knockdowns but did have Broner in trouble in the the seventh and ninth. For some reason Broner celebrated the final bell and seemed surprised when Pacquiao was named the victor. To make matters worse Broner proclaimed victory during his post fight interview with Jim Gray. Official scores were 117-111, 116-112 twice and it wasn't that close.  Source: Showtime PPVÂ
