The 25 year-old veteran is undefeated inhis last fifteen bouts, with his last loss coming all the way back in 2019, a twelve-round losss to Eduardo Baez for the Mexican championship. San Antonio’s Cardenas (23-1, 12 KOs) scored a second-round knockout victory over the 15-0 Rafael Pedroza in his hometown this past September.
