The WBC has announced that next week's bout between Regis Progais (pictured) of the United States and England's Tyrone McKenna will be a junior welterweight eliminator. The two men clash on a Probellum card on March 19th at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium in the United Arab Emirates. Prograis (26-1) is a former WBA champion, whose only loss is to current undisputed champion Josh Taylor in 2019. McKenna is 22-2-1 with one of his losses coming against Jack Catterall, whom many think was robbed by the jusges against Taylor last week. On the same card, O’Shaquie Foster (18-2) of the United States takes on Tajikistan’s Muhammadkhuja Yaqubov (18-0) in a WBC 130-pound title eliminator.
