The stewards of the British Boxing Board of Control decded to order a British light heavyweight championship contest between Joshua Buatsi and Anthony Yarde. A purse bid has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 10th with the stuipulation that the bout take place by the end of November. Buatsi, the reigning champion, is 18-0 and lifted the title from Dan Azeez in his last fight. Azeez was the second straight undefeated foe vanquished by Buatsi. Yarde is 25-3 with two straight wins following an exciting but failed world title bid vs. Artur Beterbiev.
