Queensberry Promotions' Frank Warren announced new details on the May 10th show set for Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, England. The main event will be a super featherweight showdown between Anthony Cacace - the reigning IBO champion and former WBA champion at featherweight and former WBA featherweight champion Leigh Wood. "The arena will be packed to the rafters for this potentially epic shootout that carries with it huge anticipation from fight fans," wrote Warren.

 

The undercard features another Nottingham favorite, light heavyweight Ezra Taylor, who is matched against Birmingham’s English champion Troy Jones (12-0) in a battle of undefeateds. Taylor is an emerging force in the division and victory will see him propelled towards the British title and beyond.

 

Former British, European and IBO world super bantamweight champion Liam Davies steps up to featherweight for the first time and he jumps straight into a cracking clash against the undefeated Irish Olympian Kurt Walker while, at welterweight, Worcester’s Owen Cooper will endure a test of his credentials against the hugely experienced Chris Kongo.
