According to the Cedar Rapids Gazette, heavyweight journeyman Travis Fulton is dead of an apparent suicide just hours after pleading guilty to child pornography charges in his home state of Iowa. Fulton's death is believed to have occurred by hanging in a jail cell, where he'd been since his arrest in February. Age 44, Fulton's boxing record is listed as 25-48-2 with an additional loss in a bare knuckles contest. He also has competed in over 300 mixed martial arts fights. Fulton's pro career stretched from 1999-2019 and included losses to Fres Oquendo, Jeremy Williams, Gerald Washington and Lou Savarese.
