Reports: DAZN lost $877 million in 2024

According to SportsBusiness.com, DAZN suffered an operating loss of $877.5 million in 2024, an "improvement" over 2023, when the streaming service's reported loss total was $1.37 billion. InsiderSport.com added that DAZN's funding comes from investor Leonard Blavatnik’s Access Industries as well as a $1 billion investment from "SURJ, a sports investment company owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund." The Public Investment Fund is controlled by boxing's most powerful figure, Turki Alalshikh. On the positive side for DAZN,  revenue grew from $2.86 billion in 2023 to $3.19 billion in 2024. The company said this growth was driven by the addition of new sporting events.
