Pablo Esequiel Corzo TKO5 Juan Boada ... Pablo Esequiel Corzo, a super middleweight from Argentina, scored a fifth-round technical knockout victory over Colombia's Juan Boada this weekend at the Luna Park Stadium in Buenos Aires. The 22 year-old Catamarca native had a great night at the mythical Argentinean stadium and improved his pro record to 15-0 with 13 KOs. Boada, for his part, tried to stand up to the home fighter but was outclassed at all times and ran out of gas came in the fifth round, when the fight ended. Boada is now 14-5.
Jose Angel Rosa TKO3 German del Castillo... In the junior welterweight bout held on the same show, Argentina's Jose Angel Rosa defeated German del Castillo (11-4-2). Rosa finished his Colombian opponent in just three rounds. Rosa knocked down the Colombian in the second round and in the third round punished him with no response from the visito until the referee stopped the fight. Rosa, 23 years old, is now 21-0 with 15 KOs.
