This Saturday night, boxing returns to The Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City as Puerto Rican bantamweight Emmanuel "Salserito" Rodriguez (not the former IBF champion) takes on Carlos Mujica in the main event of a twelve-bout card promoted by R and B Promotions. Rodriguez now fights out of Newark, New Jersey and is 13-1 with seven knockouts. The 30 year-old is a six-year professional who stopped Frank Gonzalez (9-2) in October. Rodriguez is coming off an eight-round unanimous decision over Sharone Carter on February 11th at The Showboat Hotel. Mujica of Las Vegas has a record of 7-2 with one knockout. The 27-year old scored a six-round unanimous decision win over George Navarro (8-2-1) on April 1st.
