Samson 3K Battery TKO5 Veeraphol Sahaprom... In a battle of middle aged Thai legends, 45 year-old Samson 3k Battery a/k/a Samson Issan a/k/a Samson Dutchboy Gym stopped 48 year-old Veeraphol Sahaprom in the fifth round of a fight contested under muay thai rules.  Samson appeared much closer to his prime fighting shape than did Sahaprom. In front of a large an appreciative crowd, Samson peppered the former boxing champion with punches until the referee clapped his hands, signalling the end of the bout.  Veeraphol did not seem badly hurt and the two old rivals hugged each warmly afterwards. Samson went 43-0 as a boxer but never ventured beyond the safety of minor WBF title fights. Sahaprom consistently fought the best in the world, notching a 66-4-2 career mark and gaining WBA and WBC bantamweight titles on separate occasions.
