With true world super middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez now having been stripped by the IBF, the next IBF title fight at 168 pounds will be #1 William Scull vs. #2 rated Vladimir Shishkin for the vacant title. A purse bid has been called for tomorrow by the IBF. The little-known Scull is a German-based Cuban, age 32, with a pro record of 22-0. Shishkin is Russian born and fights out of the United States. He's 16-0 and 33 years old. Meanwhile, Alvarez will defend his world championship vs. Edgar Berlanga on September 14th.
