Boxing star Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano fought in her third professional MMA event on Friday, needing only 60 seconds to submit her opponent at Benito Juarez Auditorium in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico. The 32 year-old Serrano (2-0-1), fighting out of Brooklyn, NY, outclassed her Mexican opponent, pro-debuting Valentina Garcia (0-1-0) with superior striking. She also briefly demonstrated improving ground skills. Serrano locked in a relatively long guillotine choke until Garcia finally tapped out. As a boxer, Serrano is currently 40-1-1 and is a three-belt champion in the featherweight division.
