South Africa’s Shervantaigh Koopman and Canada’s Brandon Cook both made weight and are ready for a junior middleweight bout today (Saturday) at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park, South Africa.  Koopman weighed in at 153.9 pounds, while Cook stopped the scales at 153.4, both below the 154-pound weight limit. At 14-0 with 9 KOs, Koopman is an undefeated 30-year old who knows he must get a win to advance to the international level of boxing. He's coming off a win over Wendy Toussaint earlier this year.  Cook is already recognized worldwide after a loss to Jaime Munguia. Cook has won six straight snce the 2018 loss to Munguia and overall stands at 26 wins, 2 losses and 18 knockouts.
